Into Thin Air
By Jon Krakauer
I first saw this book sitting on my roommates desk probably as early as 1999 or early 2000s. JB had a love for the outdoors and adventure. I thought about reading it then but it was college and reading for fun seemed like a foreign idea at the time.
So now some 18-19 years later I finally sat down to read it. I have zero desire to climb a mountain, and less than zero to climb Everest. But documentaries and articles about Everest have always fascinated me and this book was no different.
I feel like this review would be no different than others. Here’s a link to the wiki article on it for a summary.
Last year about this time I read another of Krakauer’s work called Into the Wild. Another I highly recommend.
